Community Master Planning assignments have included areas of both private and public ownership and have included residential, commercial, industrial and institutional uses. The projects have ranged in size from urban neighborhoods to multiple communities. Most often, planning begins with stakeholder meetings to assess strengths, weaknesses and wishes. Alternative concepts are prepared, reviewed and refined resulting in a plan that includes the goals of multiple interests.

Sonoc Architects has overseen community visioning workshops, analyzed project sites, prepared alternative site plan concepts, identified transportation options, presented land use recommendations, designed streets and boulevards, as well as public plazas and parks.
